Traditional Clothing
Generally, Papuans live in isolated areas. They spread throughout the forest forming customary communities separately. Because this case has occured since a long time a go, the development of modernization has been slow in Papua. This has implications for the fulfillment of their life necessities that are relying on nature, including in the fulfillment of clothing needs.
In the fulfillment of the need for clothing, the close ties of Papuan society and nature can be seen from traditional customary clothing that they wear. Papuan traditional clothes and accessories as a whole are made of 100% natural ingredients in a very simple way of making.
